WORCESTER,MA. (AP) - The Humane Society of East Mass is looking for volunteers to help bathe some of the
hundreds of animals taken from a no-kill shelter last week.
Jode'
Braxton-Hignight says the humane society headquartered in Worcester is
also looking for new and slightly-used pet toys for the 205 dogs and 75
cats.
Authorities have said dogs, cats, five goats, a pony and a
chicken were taken from the South Mass Animal Rescue Team and
Refuge. Misdemeanor cruelty charges were filed Tuesday against director
Jonean Crowle.
The animals were being taken to the Worcester state farm.
